Order & Disorder
The first two images are 2D/3D collages. They are combinations of my paintings and cut-out, folded boxes using my students’ 3D images (from the years I spent teaching 3D computer imaging). When I retired, I brought home several notebooks of their printed out work. The images are souvenirs reminding me of my teaching years – and of the joys and challenges of teaching in the juncture of art and technology.
As I move on in my life, I am reclaiming my own art, in this case by reconfiguring theirs. With a heartfelt bow to the students – their amazing minds and everything they taught me.
